When we cook for you it is the beginning of a long relationship between us and our client. Whether you need help planning your next event, or you need us for any reason, contact us. In the meantime here's a list common questions we get.
Tasteful Vibes Q&A
Catering Events
How much notice do you need to prepare for my event?
We could accommodate most functions with a relatively small amount of notice (2 weeks). It does depend on what is needed for your event however. The number of guests you will have, what services or extras you may want, etc, will all have an influence on our availability. We've worked events on shorter notice but that may influence the pricing.
Do you offer tastings so we can try food before booking?
Of Course! We want everyone that uses us to feel comfortable with our quality. Schedule a tasting and Executive Chef Devon McGuire will put together a menu for you and anyone else that wants to get a feel for our flavor before booking.
I have guests with special diets, is that a problem?
Absolutely not! Chef Devon takes pride in customizing each customer and each individuals specific needs. Anything you need, we will accommodate you! Vegetarian, Vegan, Kid-friendly, we do it all!
Are you Licensed and Insured?
Yes, we have all of the required licenses, permits, and insurances that are required to prepare and serve food.
How much do you charge?
We charge on a $$ per person basis. All of that will fluctuate depending what is being done. If we do a full service plated dinner for a wedding the cost will be much different than us passing Hors D'ouevres at a cocktail party. You will have to speak with someone to get a price because it fluctuates from event to event
How much time do I have to make a change to my menu or guest count?
For events with 30 or more people we will need a minimum of 2 weeks notice if there is a menu change. For smaller social gatherings like our Cook and Sip as an example, 7 days notice is required. Guest counts are final once we are within 30 days of your event.
If I have to cancel my event, what is your cancellation policy?
If you have to cancel your event we need a minimum of 30 days notice. If cancelled within 29 or less days, All deposits made are non-refundable.
Do I need to pay a deposit to book my event?
We do require a deposit be made to reserve your date. Once we work out the menu and we know your guest count, a deposit amount will be determined. The deposit amount is a percentage of what your overall event cost is.
What size events can you cater?
Generally we do smaller events (50 or less) but we have catered larger functions before. We can handle a function larger than 50 people, we just need more notice than usual.
Do I need to provide anything?
No, we bring all cooking supplies, ingredients, food containers, and anything else that will be needed during your event. All we need is a fully functioning kitchen that has a working oven, stove, running water, and available electrical outlets.
Meal Delivery
How do I order?
We send out a new menu on Wednesday of each week. Orders and payment are due by 10am that Friday morning.
How does delivery work?
Your order will be split into two delivery days, Monday and Wednesday. Your order will be dropped off in the early morning in an insulated bag. When dropping off your delivery we ask that the bags from the previous delivery be left on your front door step.
If I have special dietary needs does that matter?
We have no problem making off menu items however, that will have to be done at an additional charge.
Is there a minimum number of meals I need to order?
We do not have a minimum number of meals that have to be ordered however, we do require a minimum order size of $50.
Is there a charge for delivery?
Yes there is. Right now there is a $5 per week delivery charge.
Can I make changes or cancel my order after it's been placed?
Changes and cancellations of orders will have to be made before 3pm on that Friday. After that all orders are final and non-refundable.
How much does a customized menu cost?
Depending on what you are asking for will make the additional cost fluctuate.
